WBC 2024 | Chinese Society for Biomaterials Successfully Held Chinese Scholars Exchange Meeting at the 12th World Biomaterials Congress

On May 28, 2024 at 12:10 local time, the Chinese Scholars Exchange Meeting (Open Meeting of Chinese Society for Biomaterials) was successfully held in Room 504, EXCO, Daegu, South Korea.

 

The meeting invited Chinese experts, scholars, and students from around the world to participate, aiming to build an interactive platform for sharing research achievements and insights. Prof. Xingdong Zhang, Honorary President of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM) and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Prof. Joachim Kohn, Current President of the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Engineering (IUSBSE), attended the meeting and delivered addresses. The exchange meeting was convened and hosted by Prof. Hua Ai, Vice President of CSBM and Professor at Sichuan University.

 

The CSBM has successfully organized such exchange meetings at the World Biomaterials Congress on multiple occasions, each time receiving wide attention and positive feedback. This exchange covered various aspects of the biomaterials field, including fundamental research, applied development, and industrial advancement, providing a stage for Chinese scholars worldwide to present their research achievements and spark intellectual collisions. The meeting not only strengthened connections among Chinese scholars globally but also injected new vitality into innovation and development in the biomaterials field. It is believed that with the joint efforts of Chinese scholars, the biomaterials field will achieve more breakthrough results and make even greater contributions to the advancement of human health.
